My Story
It was Fall 2005, one year after Scentsy had officially launched. Those modest undershirts were really in and I looked up someone in my area to come and do a party for me and my friends. That's when I found Angela Thueson. Not only was she a great friend, but we are related as well! I went to her house to look at some of the shirts she had to offer and when I walked into her office, I saw all these boxes and bars in bins...and it smelled heavenly! I asked Angela right away what it was and then I heard it...Scentsy! My life was never the same.I was so distracted by the Scentsy items that I barely remember the shirts at all. Angela gave me a car candle to try...Cranberry Spice...and I rushed out to put it in my car. My husband was amazed at how good it smelled. I was hooked. I went home and Googled Scentsy right away. I signed up immediately and became the 162nd Scentsy consultant. I have never regretted that decision!I had the opportunity to meet Orville and Heidi Thompson at the first little office space that Scentsy occupied. They welcomed me right in as one of the family as I jumped in head first offering to learn how to make Scentsy bars, car candles, and room sprays; package and ship product; and even help choose new scents! I met Becky Preece who has been an amazingly sweet friend and mentor. I fell in love with the whole Scentsy crew and they all hold a very special place in my heart.Now as consultants we are not able to work in the warehouse, but those ties are still strong and I love those memories! Scentsy has been a great blessing in my life as it has helped me to stretch and grow in ways I never would have otherwise. I love the product, helping change lives, and of course, the income. Scentsy was founded by good people who do what is right and that has been the most attractive thing about it all for me. Scentsy takes care of its consultants and truly treats them as family. I am excited for the future of Scentsy and all that will come from the seemingly small start of a great idea to safely and beautifully fragrance our homes.<!--endbody-->
